IMPACT
Production and Process
Savvas Alexander operates predominantly on a made-to-order model, leveraging advanced production systems to counteract overproduction and material waste.
This approach allows precise control of production volumes, material stock, and usage on an order-by-order basis, ensuring efficiency and minimising excess at every stage.
We design with low-waste methodologies, integrating precision pattern-cutting techniques to optimise material yield. For wholesale, we utilise digital systems to further minimise waste and collaborate closely with retail partners to maximise sell-through, reducing unsold inventory.
Internally, we prioritise material efficiency and the reduction of packaging waste, actively minimising plastic consumption. Throughout the design process, material usage, reusability, and recyclability are central considerations, while digital development methods are employed to avoid unnecessary waste in physical sampling.
Looking forward, we are committed to expanding our Future Localism philosophy across our supply chain, prioritising local manufacturing networks to reduce carbon emissions linked to global shipping. Our products are engineered for longevity, easy repair, and future recyclability through design practices enabling disassembly and circularity.
Materials and Ethical Commitment
We prioritise the use of locally sourced, eco-friendly, and recycled materials wherever possible, and we are actively exploring the integration of bio-innovative materials as a core part of our future offering.
As part of our ethical framework, Savvas Alexander does not use exotic skins, feathers, or materials associated with unsustainable practices.
Through a considered approach to creation, we strive to produce fashion that addresses the systemic challenges of overconsumption and overproduction, offering products designed to endure and evolve.
